  • COMEDIC TRAINING: A former teen model and performer, Tara remembered her passion for entertaining while attending a personal development seminar. The speaker prompted attendees to make a list of the qualities they love most about themselves (ex. kindness, compassion, courage). These qualities are our 'Power Virtues' and meant to be the fuel that helps us in all areas of our lives. A great sense of humor was high on Tara's Power Virtue list. That realization led Tara to weave her joyful spirit and humor into every part of her life and she began studying and performing stand-up comedy. Now a skilled comedian, speaker, and storyteller, Tara performs regularly at popular venues throughout Southern California including: The Improv, MBar, and The World Famous Comedy Store. She has trained with top comedy teachers and is currently studying improvisation at leading improvisational school, The Upright Citizen's Brigade.

  • HOBBIES: In her free time, Tara enjoys being with friends and family and telling jokes to anyone who will listen including her two cats, Penny and Gem. She has volunteered extensively with hospice and other hospital patients, loves animals, and nature (just like her father, Tom), and loves to exercise (yes, you have read correctly). She has gained some of her most profound life insights while hiking the Southern California mountain trails. You can catch Tara having fun and working out with exercise guru Richard Simmons' in his latest dvd, Tonin' To The Oldies.
